But, mostly in a good way.

I started woodworking in 4-H, in elementary school. Growing up with parents from the (first) Great Depression era, you learned how to do carpentry and how to make things utilitarian.

I lived through the early days of the software wars, and when they entered a "cease-fire" after the Year 2000, I decided to disprove the adage of "do what you love, and you'll never work a day in your life!" Starting my own construction company and cabinetry business, boy did I disprove it.

But, I learned and I still love it. Most of all, I love the juxtaposition of different materials - wood, metal, stone. Some of the most beautiful things are made of those materials coming together. From that came the marriage of very precise and repeatable products, with uniquely configured woods and grains. To this goal, we offer our cutting boards, cutlery, boxes and grips..
